Tell us who you are?
I’m Graham Brammer, the Director of Swift Electrical Contractors Ltd.
Where did the name for the company come from?
I did a similar design for my father’s company when I was at school, so as a nod to my father, I reused the design but had it professionally created.
What services or products do you offer?
We offer various types of electrical work, including industrial, commercial, and domestic installations, testing and inspection, fault finding, lighting upgrades, PAT testing and office refurbishments.
How many team members are currently employed – who are they and what do they do?
We have a team of 10 office-based members, including Jack Read (Site Manager), 7 electrical engineers, and Jack Bailey, our first-year apprentice.
What made you want to start your own business / or work for your company?
My father was an electrician, and as a youngster, I worked on some of his small projects. This gave me the desire to pursue an electrical apprenticeship and later start my own business.
Why was Bury Businesslodge chosen as a location / how long have you been here?
We chose Trent House for a number of reasons. The location was perfect for us, the offices available to us were perfect for our business size, the facilities and staff are second to none, and the office environment is friendly. We have been here for nearly 6 months.

No.
Are you planning anything exciting in the near future… personal or business?
We are looking to grow the business by adding more clients, staff, and company vehicles.
What’s the best piece of professional advice you’ve ever received?
You miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take.
