“As a young and growing company, ChattyDuck is extremely grateful to have found a home at BusinessLodge Stoke. Having operated from my spare room since founding the company in August 2021, I popped into Trent House (without an appointment) one Friday afternoon in December. Paula was kind enough to give me a tour of the building there and then. I immediately fell in love with the place and put down a deposit for a small two-person office.
From the very beginning, Paula, Mike and the rest of the Trent House team have been superb, providing all the expert advice and support that a new business could hope for. What’s more, we have been made to feel like part of the BusinessLodge family. Lee has done a sterling job in getting our office looking how we want it, tinkering with fixtures and fittings and decorating it in line with ChattyDuck’s corporate branding. Molly has been a huge help with technical aspects such as our phone and internet connection. She’s also managed to fix our (quite frankly, terrible) printer twice now! Then there is the friendly and professional service delivered by Kelly and Mairead at the front desk day in, day out. It’s obvious that the BusinessLodge team members are passionate about their work, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure an excellent customer experience. Since January, ChattyDuck has grown and has now relocated to a larger office within the same complex. In addition to four full-time (human) staff members, we are joined every day by our Chief of Security, a small ginger Cavapoo named Cornelius. In all seriousness, the fact that BusinessLodge offers dog-friendly workspaces was a major influence on our decision to reserve an office in the first place. More generally, Trent House is fitted out and maintained to an incredibly high standard, making it far and away one of the nicest commercial spaces we’ve seen in the Staffordshire area. From the fantastic ‘Get Stoked’ gym and superb kitchen and communal areas to its abundant free parking and corporate facilities, we not only enjoy working at Trent House but are also proud to invite clients and applicants to visit our facilities. We are immensely grateful to Paula, Mike, Molly, Lee, Kelly, Mairead and the cleaning team for the support they have offered at every stage of the ChattyDuck journey, from initial set-up through to our ongoing expansion.
